Can the new UI version please remember the last selected source, so we dont have to reselect it every time we start up.
These few mouse clicks every time will help with debugging
Recall of last loaded sources is in place. Could you provide more detail on when this occurs please? Also, could you clarify which version you are using please? 5.17.12 has not been released yet.
5.17.12-dev - I'm using the latest autobuild (downloaded PCGen Autobuild - Full Distribution last night from http://www.pcgen-test.org/autobuilds/download.html)
Every time I start PCgen, after showing the Tips dialogue, its showing the 'basic' select sources tab, with RSRD3.5 for players selected.
I have to click over to advanced, and deselect the RSRD and select my homebrew.
Ok, I just removed my autobuild dir completely (along with the preference config file), re-downloaded and reinstalled the autobuild, and now get similar behaviour, however its now defaulting to Pathfinder rather than RSRD, so its not even remembering my gamemode anymore (I guess the default gamemode has been changed since last night?).
If I change the gamemode, it does now actually default to my selected homebrew source at least. But it should be remembering the gamemode too?
(I change the 'vendordata' directory in prefs to point to my homebrew)
Try setting the use advanced sources option in preferences - that should sort things out.
I reset everything (cleared the dir out again and re-installed from the full autobuild zip, and set only the vendor data directory, and its now working just fine. Not sure how it didnt reset when I did that the first time around... but should have realised when the tip didnt start from Tip#1 after resetting that something had not cleared correctly.
This can now be closed, thanks.
