All weapons that are not the main weapons are listed alphabetically in the same slot which can lead to, for example, an important backup weapon being relegated to a second page. It would be great if the order could be chosen manually, as it used to be.
Yes this one is not completed yet - still some things to sort out.
Noticed this today: dragging items around in the inventory order causes havoc: unrelated items get unequipped or even duplicated as both equipped and unequipped.
Also: this method still does not allow for arbitrary order of weapons as it is still bound to the stucture of the tree, which can still cause some rarely used items (for example, if kept in a container) to bump weapons that are actually used to a back page.
Output order is now the same as shown in the tree. Items can now be moved up and down in their container via button or right click. Items can be dragged and dropped to move them to different containers/locations. A right click option is there to sort items in a container or equipped/carried/not carried by name (or sort key if present).
There's still a problem with the weapon order, which now is being
exacerbated by a lot of alchemical items being classified as weapons
through the Ultimate Equipment dataset.
While I can drag stuff around within one category (such as Equipped or
Carried), I cannot change the order of the categories, or have items
listed out of category order.
Here's an example: I have a character who has multiple weapons and
several alchemical items he keeps in his backpack. The main weapon is in
the Equipped tree node, as is the backpack. The rest of the weapons
cannot be equipped at the same time, so they are in the Carried node.
The order or items printed is first the main weapon, then the alchemical
stuff in the backpack, and only then the backup weapons, all of which
are relegated to a back page because the alchemical stuff fills up all
slots on the front page.
There is no way this can be changed by dragging stuff around in the
tree. I think the order of weapons should be fully customizable, and
completely independent of the item's position in the equipment location
tree. Character have different needs, some may want a lot of weapons on
the front page, some may actually want the alchemical stuff, and we'll
never be able to do this by some kind of algorithm.
Furthermore, I'd like to be able to switch off the listing of shields as
weapons, most characters are less than interested in that function, and
since shields are also usually in the Equipped node, they also get
listed on the front page before a character's backup weapons that he
might actually use.
There's still no way to customize the order of weapons on the output sheet.
