Adding two identical wands (magic missile/1st) - I can set the charges, but it's tracked in combination, not individually...
I guess this is something to live with, and if I've got two wands I should set the charges (initially) to 100, but as I've got two 'found' wands, each with less than 50 charges, rather than customizing and naming them separately, I cant track the total charges separately.
Possibly not an issue, or something that can be worked around I guess?
Pushing this one to post 6.0 as it will require some delicate work that may upset the whole purchase and equipping tab behaviour.
The issue is that charged items are all seen as equal but as they can have the charges changed they always need to be dealt with as separate items. ie. qty == 1 all the time.
Thinking for the actual output - what if the items continue to be treated as equal, but merely the sum of the charges is listed ? ie OS displays Wand (blah) quantity charges where 'y' is the total charges across all of the 'x' wands.
The flipside is that forcing the quantity to be 1 and listing each wand individually just increases the amount of space taken on the OS.
In the GUI, then if each wand is listed separately, then the charges can be set individually, with the OS just combining them for ease.
This is a long-standing bug, that is still affecting the inventory, with no acceptable workaround. Can we get this fixed somehow?
