From the companions screen, selecting a companion or familiar and loading the companion, the screen stays on the 'companions' tab, but shifts focus to the newly loaded companion.
This results in me sitting there, staring at the screen, waiting for something to happen...as it's not obvious that the load has completed.
Could the focus be automatically shifted to the 'summary' tab of any newly loaded companion please?
There are two issues here, loading a companion and creating a companion. I'm not a fan of pop-ups to say the program has done something, so instead what about:
1. On load, display the details in the sheet section above the Load Companion button.
2. On create, expand the companion type tree to show the newly created companion and show the details of that companion in the sheet section.
Note: by sheet section I mean the right hand panel on the companion tab which shows a stat block for the currently selected companion.
I'm good with whatever you decide upon James. As long as I'm not being switched the companion tab I'm happy. (Seeing the companion load in the Pane and the tree expand seems like a very VISIBLE cue the process is done to me
The create part is in now.
Looking further into the companion load, it seems that the code was intending that after load the new character would be automatically displayed (i.e. as the current character). This affects manual loading of characters also, so I was going to look at getting that working next.
'create' works nicely, thanks. Same for the 'load' will be nice too
This was resolved some time ago.
