Pathfinder Sets - Testing the Character file attached to the JIRA. I have odd pop up which I assume is the Exclass stuff kicking in, and then testing the Jotungrip ability, which was missing anyways, I discovered for the Greatsword that my only option is "Carried" or "Not Carried" for a Medium Sized Greatword on a Medium Sized PC (Human).
I'm trying to fix one issue and came across this oddity.
This is still vague.
When loading that PC, does the problem exist directly on the PC?
Is the BONUS already applied to the PC or do I need to create a new Template/whatever?
What specifically are the steps to reproduce with the character from DATA-1271?
To get the broken sword issue -
I load pcgen / pathfinder gamemode - loading the Pathfinder Core Supplement basic loader.
I then load the pcg with the character in
You'll see a pop up warning you pcgen can't find the class 'Barbarian' it has six or seven instances listed.
Then switch to the Inventory Screen - Equipped --> The greatsword is currently under 'Carried'. Unequip, and then try to equip it again, the only option in this instance is 'Carried' or 'Not Carried' as opposed to the normal option of 'Both hands'.
That's all I've done to discover this issue. At this point, since the 'Ex-Barbarian' doesn't currently qualify for ANY archetype, their is only minimal abilities attached to the character. (I'll have to review if this should be the case, but that is a separate issue).
Upon Further Review:
"Working as designed"
PC has "Titan Mauler" Archetype, which has been revoked due to the character not being a Barbarian. In addition to it being revoked, Jotungrip is conditional on being Barbarian=2, which the PC is not.
If there is an error here, it's a data error in that the Titan Mauler PRExxx (and the PRExxx on the Ability tags there) may need to allow for Ex-Barbarian
I'm going to have to disagree. Revoking the Archetype and abilties should not negate the PC's natural ability to use an appropriately size weapon. Human (Medium) using a Greatsword (Medium) should be able to wield that weapon TwoHanded aka Both Hands.
Character is holding a tower shield. No wonder they can't also stack in a greatsword. Remove the shield, and the sword can be equipped normally.
