Create a new character, assign race and add a PC class level. Now use Add Kit in the Edit menu, start adding Classes Starting Gold ~ CRB, but cancel at the choice list... the kit is still added but you get no gold. The kit cannot be removed so you're stuck that way (unless you remove the template by hand from the character file).
I'm not sure I want to fix something that someone is cancelling in the middle of the operation, otherwise I now have to make an internal template visible for just the purpose of removing, and otherwise now being displayed.
what are your thoughts to using VISIBLE:GUI for the base template?
The way I saw it, I expected the program not not apply anything until all choices were made. If I select the kit's mode (random, max, ...) and click OK, then it should be applied as normal. If I cancel anywhere before that, it should not be applied at all. It seems to be the default behavior in the rest of the program (and/or at least in most software). This may be more of a code issue as such and maybe not worth spending the time, admittedly.
I see I also get strange behaviors with the 1st level free clothing, so maybe that's just how kits work, mh...
I don't see how changing it to VISIBLE:GUI is going to correct the problem... If hitting cancel still applies the kit, then that's a code issue that needs addressing.
There is no current pathway to allow the cancel to affect the application of the kit. As a result this will require new work to implement.
