default text colors have changed for the worst
so in a previous download-and-build-locally, I mentioned to Andrew that I could not read the displayed text in PCGen, and gave up.
I've now found the problem, which is that the default color for the text "All Prerequisites Met" and "Release Status" has changed from Black to White. Given that the default background colours in the relevant windows (in both System and Nimbus) are white and pale grey, the white text is unreadable.
I was only able to recognise the problem because I switched through the UI Look-and-feel and briefly went back tot he butt-ugly Motif, which uses an awful mid-grey background, but does at least show White text.
I then tried the Preferences Color settings.
I can use a colour changer to alter "All Prerequisites Met" setting - BUT the "Release Status" color is not editable in the GUI Preferences panel. So I can;t actually fix the text used for choosing sources...
Please fix this - white text is not a good choice on modern OS systems - even the JAVA Nimbus uses black text. Only old-school VDU-fans are still using White text on Black background...
Win10 64-bit, Java 8.144
no longer reproduces even in 6.07.02 - change in Windows environment?
it's worse than I thought.
changing the color preference "All Prerequisites Met" to Black, has no noticeable effect - all the chooser pages still have white text.
