Pathfinder 1e: With "Automatic Bonus Progression" turned on in optional rules systems, we get an ABP Mental Prowess selector at seventh level on the ABP tab under Feats & Abilities. The +2 Charisma / Int selectors no longer apply to temporary ability score as it did in RC4. This only seems to happen when the player's racial bonuses modify the Cha or Int stat - for instance, playing a gnome or a dwarf, or a human with that stat selected as their racial bonus. Wisdom does not appear to have the same issue.
The easiest way to see this issue is to create a 7th level human with 10 CHA and INT, turn on automatic bonus progression, select charisma, and view the ability score vs temporary score (they should both equal 12.) Then set the human's racial ability bonus to +2 charisma. We expect ability score to go up to 14, but the 'temporary score' does not change from 12, even though the Ability Score box does. The same will occur if you set ABP mental prowess to INT and set the human bonus to +2 INT. This does not happen if both are set to WIS. I suspect that this means the CHA/INT bonuses to ABP are somehow now flagged as racial and not stacking in the temporary score.
