RC6 calculates AC incorrectly. Especially for races like the elves that give bonuses to DEX.
Also, the barbarian class features do not print on the pdf.
Windows 10 used the windows installer, using custom datafiles from BahamutDragon. Can even demonstrate it with the 5e SRD that comes with pcgen.
The pdfs I supplied were using just the standard 5e SRD from the pcgen team. I’m not sure what is different. I am getting different AC results and different pdf output based on version of pcgen.
Well there is a bit of a problem, I see the error in the generated PDFs regarding AC, I just cannot reproduce it at this instant with RC7 on Windows 10.
To test I did the following:
Install oracle JDK 12 on my Windows 10 notebook.
Fetch the PCGen 6.08RC7 from the current download link, full zip, then extract.
Ran the program from the pcgen.exe launcher & loaded your elven barb.
PCGen and exported pdfs agree, character has 16 AC and 17 dex. I attached the exported pdf.
Is it possible that the bahamut data file modification introduces the problem? Are these LST files? Give me exact steps to add these custom files and I’ll try but if I can’t duplicate this bug then I can’t fix it.
Alternatively, can you try again RC7 from a fresh download unmodified? It seems odd that we both download RC7, use same pcg and get different results.
I will give the new install a try this weekend. All that I did to include the bahamut dragon files was create a homebrew file in the 5e data folder, then I copied the folders in the 5e data folder from the bahamut dragon files from the 6.08 branch.
I have been unable to recreate in a new install of the program.
Ok then. Closing. Have fun playing 5e.
