Currently, there are two naming schemes for Rings, at least, with most rings using an older scheme of, for example, Ring (Force Shield) for the Ring of Force Shield and a newer scheme for a few rings, like the Ring of Climbing. It might make sense to have everything named and sorting one way, using unique keys to keep the changed items functioning. When adding in the missing Ring of Jumping (Improved), I used the new scheme, but that makes it different, at least, to find than the regular Ring (Jumping).
I used one scheme in the attached file, turning the Output Name into the Equipment Name wherever possible, but I am not sure if it looks and sorts better as, say, "Minor Ring of Spell Storing", or whether "Ring of Spell Storing (Minor)" would look and sort better, keeping "Minor Ring of Spell Storing" just for Output.
(It also might make sense to have a uniform Output name system, using either the "Minor Ring of Spell Storing" pattern or the "Ring of Jumping, Improved" pattern. I think I prefer the latter.)
If there was an agreed-upon best way, I could do the changing.
Besides the rsrd_equip_rings.lst file, there are the epic rings in rsrd_equip_epic.lst, one ring in rsrd_equip_psionic.lst, and one cursed ring in rsrd_equip_wondrousitems.
Ring of Greater Foo-ness
Ring of Lesser Smite
KEY should be Ring (blah) as it currently is.
Actually, looks like Tir before he left wanted to go to Ring of Blah. Easy enough to implement today.

All rings listed updated to new uniform standard in the RSRD
If you want to tackle any non-rsrd rings, be my guest, I'm closing this tracker out as the requested changes are now in.
