The "Intelligent" ability for robots from "Inner Sea Bestiary" and from "Dungeons of Golarion" turns mindless constructs into constructs, but the mindless construct races (such as Bestiary's Iron Cobra) have a class level in "Construct (Mindless)" that the ability (if applied through a template) can't undo.
Ah right, it can be added to other constructs, which indeed, in PCGen terms at least, makes it a template. Unfortunately just adding the subtype wouldn't work, we would need to have a mechanism to replace all class levels of "Construct (Mindless)" with class levels of "Construct", and I don't think that's easily done. Hmm.
I was going to look into how this might be possible to support by not having constructs separate by
mindless and non-distinctions.
