Most Gunslinger Class Features seem not to be implemented correctly, especially if you choose one of the Archetypes on top of the base Class.
See https://pcgenorg.atlassian.net/browse/DATA-1615 for more.
Also, having Bonus Grit Points from the Favoured Class Bonus show up in the Grit Class Feature would be nice.
Added my Character for reference.
Cleaned up the layout, Deeds now all appear under the main deeds. Merged archetypes Deeds into the main deeds ability display.
I missed this question - "Are there any plans to ever include an actual Grit pool implementation into PCGen?" You'll need to be a bit more specific in what you mean in order for me to attempt an answer that would be satisfactory.
Is there a value keeping track of GritPoints - Yes. Can we consider it a pool. I suppose.
Beyond the GritPoints value and GritMax value, there isn't much else to do with grit. I'd say it's like Psionic Power Points. We track how many you have. It's up to you to keep track of how you spend them.
If you have a specific idea, please share it.
Okay, just grabbed the latest UC from Sourceforge and tried it, the Grit Class Feature still says 3 points of Grit, not 5.
Also, I noticed that the Gunsmith Feature is now missing all together, which is even worse than being listed twice because the latter is just clutter, whereas the former makes it easy to forget or for your GM to see that you even have that Class Feature.
As for a Grit Pool, I just thought it'd be nifty if we had a field for "current Grit points" of Max Grit Points, where we can add or deduct Grit Points and if Grit reaches 0, all those nifty Deeds that require at least 1 Grit would not be working and it would effect stuff like the Initiative value shown on the sheet or something.
Although now that I think about it, I don't think something like this exists for HP or Spells spent either? I guess the focus of PCGen is more on creating characters to print them for games and it is not exactly meant to replace the character sheet alltogether, right?
I think my use case is something I brought over from Shadowrun, where the Chummer Character Generator was also designed to be used in game and you could keep track of your Ammo, Hit Boxes and Edge Pool right in the application. I do want to say that this would be kinda cool for PCGen as well, but I totally understand if this is not what the project is going for.
So yeah, I guess it boils down to this more general question of what PCGen is meant to do and what it isn't.
The PDF export has an editable field or two, don't know how hard that would be to implement for Grit points.
You didn't update Advanced Race Guide then, that's where the Favored Bonus is held. I sent you both UC and ARG. Use those and see how it looks.
Oh well, that was pretty stupid on my part xD You are right, everything works just fine now, very nice. Thank you very much
