Choosing the Warden Archetype does seem to remove the favoured enemy but does not add favoured terrain. It is not removing or adding anything the Warden Archetype is supposed to replace. pcg file affected has been added as example.
MacOSX running VMware Fusion Windows 7. Issue tested on separate Win 7 machine.
Fixed the TYPOs but not seeing anything about Class Skills. Favored Terrain works just fine. Favored Enemies are removed.
At level 1 Warden is supposed to receive a favoured terrain at the expense of the favoured enemy, but the system isn't accounting for that and just removed favoured enemy without giving favoured terrain. At 2nd level, Warden receives "Live in Comfort" at the expense of all Combat Style Feats, but the system assigns the CSFeat at level 2 instead of "Live in Comfort." Therefore, not granting skills appropriately.
No matter what I do, I can't seem to get the system to recognize this. Neither can my friends when they try to reproduce the character on their own. The only thing I can think of is that the data is incorrect either in pcgen or d20pfsrd.
Thanks for the quick reply.
Just to clarify, I may be doing something wrong, but this is my method: Create new character, choose abilities, add race, assign ranger level, and then choose archetype. At this point it won't let me add the favoured terrain and if I add a second level of ranger, it gives me the CSFeat that the Warden shouldn't be getting.
If I'm going about this the wrong way, please let me know. But I had some people also try making a warden and they had the same problem.
Edit: I don't know how your system works, but I clicked on "reopen"
If it was the typo causing the problem, how may I resolve the issue on my end?
Sorry for the trouble.
Hi, let's first correct the terminology you're using.
Skills are Acrobatics, Stealth, Knowledge (Arcana), etc.
Class Skills are Skills that are used by a Class more often, in pathfinder those skills gain a +3 to their total bonus if you have at least a single skill rank in them.
What you are looking for is Class Abilities or Features. Depending on your source. Around here we call those Abilities.
Now, I'll send you the fixes, rest assured. Now that I understand the complete issue I can address it.
The main issue for the Combat Style was a typo. That's been corrected. Terrains, I didn't realize you started with one, which is atypical, so I've addressed that. BONUS:VAR|FavoredTerrainPool|1 for those following at home.
I believe that is all the issues you discovered. I'll push the update and then zip an attachment for those that want the fix.
Ueah, sorry! It's been a few years since I've done a tabletop. orz Thanks for the clarification and sorry for the confusion. >>;
Thank you very much!
Edit: I added the folder into my system and it works beautifully! Thank you again!
