It would be useful to have the "Naturalist" bardic music ability implemented as a temporary bonus.
Basic bardic abilities seem to be available as temporary bonuses but the "Naturalist" one would be good to have explicitly, to assist to avoid with stacking issues.
I would assume that this option would be associated with the Advanced Player's Guide data.
Well first, to speak to its 'niche'. the skill is a replacement for "inspire courage", which also gives bonuses to the bard and to his allies. I guess what makes it questionable is that it only applies to the allies against the targetted 'race'.
But really, this is why having it as a toggle is very useful, so that it can be turned on and off and see what the results are in a combat vs different races.
Also, it is clearly useful in fights where everything is the same race.. but i digress.
In terms of what should change/get displayed when you toggle it - I am not certain what you are refering to when you say 'combat bonus section', so I'll just wing it.
What I would personally like to see is, when I turn on "Naturalist" that is work somewhat similiarly to "Inspire Courage", where it will ask me what level to apply. Then, when I toggle it on and off on the "Character Sheet" tab, that in Standard.htm it would show effects as if it applied against all monsters in To hit's, AC, and Saves. And then the user can toggle it on/off as applies to the monsters he is trying to hit/dodge/make saves against.
Does that make sense?
AC and TOHIT now set up. Foundation for the ASPECT:CombatBonus set up but not implemented.
And now CombatBonus section is set up.
IMHO i would have this affect the Saves on the sheet too, but I could understand a discussion.
For most monsters that aren't actually casting spells, the save bonuses would apply.
Just my $0.02
Missed the save portion. Implemented now.
