Pathfinder Bestiary 1
The unicorn has an alignment restriction to CG, even though Pathfinder removed racial restrictions.
Can you cite a reference to that rule? The Unicorn is coded exactly as written in the Bestiary. Which is listed as:
Unicorn CR 3
CG Large magical beast
Init +3; Senses darkvision 60 ft., low-light vision, scent;
Aura magic circle against evil
Though, oddly enough I thought we moved to flexible alignment assignments via kits. Something to look into, but please, a rule citation to back the statement is very useful. Without that, I would have to verify the rule. Since the race entry is out of sync with the pathfinder standards, I will set it to our standard. Which happens to benefit you and delimit the racial restriction. So yay! I would still like to see the rule though... cause it's how I learn and keep up with these changes...
Unicorn moved to KIT alignment system - oddly enough the only monster in the bestiary that was missed in the great conversion a couple of years back.

It's from the Bestiary
Alignment, Size, and Type: While a monster's size and type remain constant (unless changed by the application of templates or other unusual modifiers), alignment is far more fluid. The alignments listed for each monster in this book represent the norm for those monsters—they can vary as you require them to in order to serve the needs of your campaign. Only in the case of relatively unintelligent monsters (creatures with an Intelligence of 2 or lower are almost never anything other than neutral) and planar monsters (outsiders with alignments other than those listed are unusual and typically outcasts from their kind) is the listed alignment relatively unchangeable.
