Weapons from Inner Sea World Guide, Adventurers Armory, Ultimate Equipment are missing Fighter Weapon Group Categories

Sources loaded: Pathfinder RPG Core supplements, Adventurers Armory, Inner Sea World Guide

Some of the weapons from those books are not in fighter weapon categories and don't get the weapon training bonus. I added a few weapons to the character to demonstrate the issue: Every weapon that does not get a damage bonus on the character sheet is missing the declaration. The Butterfly Sword is fine (gets +1 damage) while the Dogslicer is not, but both should be in the Weapon Group Light. I fear there might be more that I just haven't found yet, but the inventory list for the weapon groups seems awfully empty.

Sword, Short = Sword (Short)
Dagger, Swordbreaker = Dagger (Swordbreaker)

Comma in names results in prime (second).

The proper method is use a KEY for the proper name, and then make the display match the book.

Dagger, Swordbreaker <> KEYagger (Swordbreaker)

Then you have PCGen unique legal key, and then the book display.

Okay, I am done with the list from Ultimate Equipment. The other one is a bit of a problem - where do I put the mods ? Technically they belong to "Humans of Golarion", but that book doesn't even list equipment. I don't have the Adventurers Armory, so I can't check that one. This affects about 20 weapons, mostly because existing weapons have been added to multiple groups.

While doing that, I also found a bunch of naming inconsistencies. So far i have seen the "Chain Spear" and "Spear (Chain)", the "Swordbreaker Dagger" and the "Dagger (Swordbreaker)". I left them alone for now, but I feel there should be something done about this.

Humans of Golarion, page 24 and 25 is the most recent one.

The extended base list is in Ultimate Equipment, page 47. The dogslicer for example is listed there under "Blades, light", but isn't in any category in PCgen.

I'd happily do this myself and submit a PR as soon as the other one is resolved.

Just curious, where are these weapon groups listed in those books? I can't fix things that don't exist. I have about ten minutes available, and tracking lists down will eat up all that time.

blockquote, div.yahoo_quoted { margin-left: 0 !important; border-left:1px #715FFA solid !important; padding-left:1ex !important; background-color:white !important; } Mark Means handles the PFS implementation of the rules. Your changes won't touch the PFS unless you edit the PFS specific sets. Feel free to fix the items for the main rules, as that is more important. The PFS stuff will be sorted after.

I just realized that I may have opened a can of worms here. It appears that there are two seperate lists for the fighter weapon training: One is PFS legal and one is not, but some weapons in the not legal group are legal to use, just not with the class feature. At least that's how I understand it, I might be wrong there.
