At start an alchemist is knowing more formulae (= spells) than he is able to cast per day.
Feature Request: PCGen should add a row "Known Spells" in this table:
PCGen -> Spells -> Known Spells -> Class Info.
The number of Known Spells is given here:
"An alchemist begins play with two 1st-level formulae of his choice, plus a number of additional forumlae equal to his Intelligence modifier."
More spells (than cast per day) can be added in PCGen - there's no doubt. But unfamiliar users don't know about the fact, that alchemist start with more Known spells (formulae) then listed in the table.
Linux, java-7-openjdk-amd64, PCGen 6.06.00
I understand this argument and agree.
Let me request this a bit different:
Is it possible to show the minimum number of known spells in the class info window?
I'm thinking about something like:
"The Alchemist starts with at least 2+x known fomulaes."
where x is the calculated number gained from intelligence modifier.
You've jumped to a code feature request. this is your domain, you up to building a bridge from data to impart a specific piece of INFO into the UI? INFO:SPELLTAB_PANE_x|Blah?
As a compromise, I could add text to the character. I have no control over the UI. That is domain.
Sounds great. Thanks.
