Varisian Tattoo granted by the non-Spell Focus version omits the SLA of the Bonus Feat.

Mage's Tattoo grants a SLA based on school (in addition to +1 caster level). When gained via the Tattooed Sorcerer archetype (Inner Sea Magic campaign setting) it either uses the same school as Spell Focus or that of the player's choice if they do not have Spell Focus. Without Spell Focus a Tattooed Sorcerer does not get the SLA (not listed under "Innate" in Spells tab) in PCGen.

Thanks for fixing that.

The oddities mentioned were not intended to be secondary issue reports. I didn't know if they were additional symptoms of the underlying problem or not. I wasn't aware of the design limitation.

I used as a reference only because Paizo's online PRD doesn't have that archetype or feat listed.

Lesson to learn here, never use a third party site to make citations. It is extremely confusing and makes tracking down the real issue difficult.

Went digging deeper, the SLA is part of the feat itself. Not the feature.

As posted earlier -

Text of abilities for the archetype are fully implemented and reachable. Was able to verify everything working within parameters with the reporter's own supplied character.

Claim of an SLA missing from the class feature is not supported in Paizo's sourcebook, or even the third party website cited. Feature correctly allows the user to select a school to increase the caster level in the absence of the main feat required spell focus.

Issue closed.
