Shifter claws at the moment do not work the way they should.
• Their damage die stays the same
• They do not get iterative attacks
Currently they are treated like 1d2 weapons that work exactly like normal claws.
Moreover the Ooozemorph's "morphic weaponry" is not implemented at all.
As the shifter gains levels, the power of her claws increases. At 3rd level, her claws ignore DR/cold iron and DR/silver. At 7th level, her claw damage increases to 1d6 (1d4 if Small). At 11th level, her claw damage increases to 1d8 (1d6 if Small). At 13th level, her claw damage increases to 1d10 (1d8 if Small). At 17th level, the damage die does not increase, but the critical multiplier becomes ×3. Lastly, at 19th level, the claws ignore DR/adamantine and DR/—.
Shifter claws can bypass a wide variety of damage resistances, even epic, but not magic. Is that intentional? No, at 3rd level, the shifter’s claws should also count as magic.
At level 6, the shifter gains the following new ability: Shifter’s Fury (Ex): At level 6, a shifter gains the ability to make several ferocious attacks with the same natural weapon. Instead of attacking with all her natural weapons, the shifter can choose a single natural weapon and make a full attack with that natural weapon, gaining a second iterative attack at a –5 as if it was a manufactured weapon. When she does so, all her other natural attacks count as secondary attacks and don’t benefit from shifter’s claws. At 11th level, she gains a third iterative attack at a –10 and at 16th level, she gains a fourth iterative attack at –15. This will be reflected in the next errata.
also the shifter has the option to use her claws instead of whatever are the natural weapons of the form she's "wearing".
If the form she takes has claw attacks, she can use either the base damage of her shifter claws or the damage of the form’s claws, whichever is greater. If the form does not have claw attacks, she can choose up to two natural attacks that would deal less damage than her shifter claw damage and have those attacks instead deal the same damage as her shifter claws.
the sources for the above are:
• Ultimate Wilderness: pages 26 and 27
therefore a level 20 shifter with +2 strength would get, with her base shifter claws, the following 3 weapon entries:
Claws (note: full attack, chose between this and iterative, COUNTS as: magic, cold iron, silver, adamantine, and ignores DR/— ) +22/+22 (1d10+2, x3, slashing)
Main Claw (note: shifter's fury grants extra iterative attacks with one natural weapon of choice, you may use this attack instead of the chosen form's main natural attack if that damage is inferior, COUNTS as: magic, cold iron, silver, adamantine, and ignores DR/— ) +22/+17/+12/+7 (1d10+2, x3, slashing)
Seconday Claw (note: secondary attacks use half strength, but can be added to iterative attacks if you have "free claws" or free natural weapons, these attacks are not added to the current form's attacks, but you may supplant up to 2 natural attacks of the chosen form with this attack depending on how many "free claws" you have, if the chosen form has less than 2 natural attacks, you may NOT add this one, unless it can deliver an unarmed strike, COUNTS as: magic, cold iron, silver, adamantine, and ignores DR/— ) +17 (1d10+1, x3, slashing)
the "note" should go into the weapon's note field
Meanwhile poor oozemorph gets far fewer abilities... buuuuut a lot more attacks, which she keeps in every shape she takes.
Morphic Weaponry (Ex): An oozemorph can create a number of natural weapons to fight with from any portion of her body, regardless of her current form. At 1st level, as a move action, an oozemorph can form two primary natural attacks that each deal 1d6 points of bludgeoning, piercing, or slashing damage, chosen by the oozemorph when she forms them. An oozemorph can change the damage type of any number of her natural weapons as a swift action. An oozemorph gains one additional primary natural attack at 6th level and another at 15th level. The total number of natural attacks an oozemorph has at any given time includes those gained via her current form. For example, an 8th-level oozemorph who has taken the form of a wolf with beast shape I has a bite attack as part of that form; she can create only two additional natural attacks via morphic weaponry, for a total of three attacks available to her at that level. If the oozemorph later reverts to a humanoid form with no natural weapons, she can instead create three morphic weapons. This replaces shifter claws.
the above is from ultimate wilderness, page 81. It never got an errata or faq.
So, the oozemorph's weapons:
• stay 1d6 no matter the level
• never bypass anything
• get extra attacks in addition to the errata of the shifter's fury
the oozemorph's morphic waponry with the assumption above (lvl 20 +2 STR) will instead give these 3 entries:
Standard Morphic Weaponry (note: full attack, chose between this and iterative) +22/+22/+22/+22 (1d6+2, choice of slashing, piercing or bludgeoning)
Main Morphic Weaponry (note: shifter's fury grants extra iterative attacks with one natural weapon of choice, you may use this attack instead of the chosen form's main natural attack if that damage is inferior) +22/+17/+12/+7 (1d6+2, choice of slashing, piercing or bludgeoning)
Seconday Morphic Weaponry (note: secondary attacks use half strength, but can be added to iterative attacks if you have "free weaponry" or natural weapons, these attacks are not added to the current form's attacks, but you may supplant up to 4 natural attacks of the chosen form with this attack depending on how many "free weapons" you have, if the form has less than 4 natural attacks, you may add the remaining attacks by forming more morphic weaponry from any point of your body) +17/+17/+17 (1d6+1, choice of slashing, piercing or bludgeoning)
