In the section on "User-defined Variables in PCGen datasets" (http://www.pcgen-test.org/autobuilds/pcgen-docs/listfilepages/globalfilestagpages/globalfilesdefine.html) TurnUndead >= 1 is described as indicating the ability to turn undead. However, it appears that this variable is deprecated, and TurnUndead seems to consistently = 0 for Clerics who can turn undead.
According to Andrew: "Looks like the docs are outdated. We don't use the variable name any longer, now that you can just use PREABILITY:1,CATEGORY=Special Ability,Turn Undead (or Rebuke Undead)"
As for the other user-defined variables listed, BardicKnowledge seems to work with my 2nd-level bard, giving a value of 6, but BardicMusic is incorrectly giving a 0.
AllowHolyAvenger works, showing a value of 1, for a Paladin.
AllowExtraTurning seems to work, showing a value of 1 for a Cleric and a Paladin.
Below are also a few trivial errors that I believe I have found, with suggestions given in parentheses.
(The Define Tag and Variables
Type: Apostrophe - (character's)
What: scans the characters race
What: half the characters total level
What: user defined (user-defined)
As with DOCS-259, I am predisposed to remove these variables altogether.
