I mostly use the pathfinder society complete data set but I noticed that there were some sources in that group that I did not want to include. For example the Pathfinder society guide to organized play.
Is there a way to load the main group of sources and then remove that specific one? Its just an inconvenience to load everything but that one by hand but its not a big issue. I'm just curious if this feature could be added in the future.
The system in place is really about choice. The "Complete" set up is a "single" set that happens to load multiple books. If it helps, you got a master compendium with all the books as part of it. There is no mechanism in place to select a "bulk" basic set and then deselect a book it includes.
I would suggest switching to the Advanced Load Tab, and pick the books you do desire to load. There is a "SAVE" option which will save your preselected books, and make that available on the BASIC load screen. It's an inconvenience once, but then once set, you're good to go.
PCGen also is able to load previous characters with the books they used. It also has a nice memory that will retain the last loaded books when you restart the program.
Beyond that, we'd have to ask the code team to implement a new method to "preselect" books for the advanced tab, allowing removal as normal.
I'm not sure if you realize this, but "Pathfinder Society Guide to Organized Play" is a required book to play Pathfinder Society games. I would suggest loading the Core Supplements instead, since Organized Play is a restricted system in allowed choices.
