In Modern if have two-weapon fighting & equip Glock Model 20 to both Primary & Secondary hands, only Primary Hand is Printed out in IE Preview screen & hard copy.
Frank: For another FREQ I have recently expanded the ranged weapon blocks in the Modern OS to display the matrix of primary hand, off-hand, two-weapons etc. similar to melee weapons. That one appears for all ranged weapons, though. I'll see if I can tweak it to display N/A in the other attacks, if the weapon can only be used twohanded. I think that would cover this? Chuck, this one was assigned to you. I hope you don't mind if a grab it, as it is a Modern OS bug. I doubt that I'll make this in time for 5.9.7, but will get to it soon.
Frank: his one will need code work. The OS should display N/A for oversized weapons on some attacks, but that behavior is only hardcoded for melee weapons. A problem with changing that is, that this behaviour is not wanted in every case. For instance stationary, vehicle or starship weapons should display the tohit value in any case. We probably need a way to trigger the that behavior. I'll need to ask Devon if it is feasible to do something about this in time, otherwise we'll have to drop this one from the 5.10 list.
This needs a spec worked out on the pcgen_experimental Yahoo! group. Taking it off 6.0.x until we get a spec
I'm not sure if something was rewritten, but it's not a problem that I can see. I tried two things:
3.5 - RSRD - made a fighter, loaded with two hand-crossbows. Equipped one to primary hand, the other to secondary hand. Two correct blocks come up in both the internal previews and in PDF output. Changed the equipped to both carried, and have "Treat weapons in hand as Equipped for Attacks" checked. Only outputs one block, but all needed information is there.
Modern - made a human class Strong. Equipped with two Glock-20s. Did the same as above, got the same results.
So unless I'm missing something, this appears to be fixed.
Since I cannot reproduce the problem, I'm closing this. If someone figures out that the problem still exists, please leave exact instructions on how to reproduce the problem.
