I exported my Pathfinder character to PDF using csheet_fantasy_std_blackandwhite.xslt. Note on the attached how both the light crossbow and the sling are listed as having "Range: 30 ft." when it should have been 80 and 50 respectively.
That is the Short Range if you take a bonus from something like Point Blank Shot. That is not declaring your range increments. The Real Ranges are clearly displayed properly in your sheet with all ten range increments.
If that's the intent, then my feature request is to display the to hit and damage for 30' as one of the members of the ten-element table, just as is done in the standard preview template. I obviously was confused by the current layout.
This was the cleanest display option. Two Lines of 5 Increments, nice and clean.
The Preview Sheet doesn't display all 10 ranges. It doesn't even properly show all 5 ranges. Your request adds a third row, or deletes a range increment that should be allowed.
Yes, I am recommending that the tenth (longest) (distance, to hit bonus, damage) triplet be dropped, and enough of the other items be shifted to the right, so that the 30 ft. Point Blank triplet can be put in the correct, sorted position. (Most commonly, that will be the first position except when the weapon's range is less than 30'. If the weapon's range is exactly 30' then nothing needs to be added.)
The way it is now suggests to me that the line above the 10 entries is describing the "range" property of the weapon, as opposed to including an 11th (distance, to hit bonus, damage) triplet.
