As the description, add "funds" to the inventory tab of a pathfinder character, and those funds don't display on the character sheet preview (standard.htm) , or the exported pdf.
PDF Condensed has initial work. Waiting on OP to determine if this is what they intended.
Sure, that would work just fine. But why is "Total" different from "unspent funds"? The value of items is up in equipment, so wouldn't "Total" be unspent funds? I don't understand the difference. What should "Total" contain?
Ah, the key to understanding... The Money section is meant to track Gold, Silver, Copper, etc you've "purchased" and all the gems you've given the character. The total is derived from that value alone. Equipment has it's own section, and the total is for that alone. You're asking for a new function to include the "funds" you've given yourself to be displayed. That's not part of the equipment, nor is it truly part of the money section. I can call it Unspent Funds, Extra Money or anything else you desire.
Ahhh, understanding indeed. I was indeed, conflating "funds" with gold/silver/copper "purchased" (in the metagame sense). I tend to think of "fundas" as the value of all gems+coins, which is what I spend when I buy items. Given what you've said, I think "Unspent funds" is fine, but would be nice if it were tied in some fashion to gold/silver/copper value the character had, so that when you buy/sell at 50% or 100%, your stock of gold would go up and down with funds. But that's hard.
I'm thinking "unspent funds" in the money section is probably best.
